Unless a product page says otherwise, each Ralph Pink Patterns sewing pattern pack includes:

– AI pattern files, all available sizes nested
– SVG pattern files, all available sizes nested
– PDF pattern files in A4, US Letter and A0, all available sizes nested
– Size chart in centimetres and inches
– Step-by-step sewing instructions PDF
– PDF print guide

Print the PDF files.
Use A4 or US Letter for home printing, or A0 for copyshop printing. Open the PDF files in Adobe Reader and print at **100% scale**. Do not use “scale to fit”, because that can change the size of the pattern.

AI files are editable pattern files for compatible Adobe Illustrator workflows. They are useful if you want to make personal digital adjustments or work with the pattern in a digital pattern workflow. If you simply want to cut and sew the garment, use the PDF files.

SVG files are editable vector pattern files for compatible vector-editing software. They are included for customers who are comfortable working digitally.

If you are not sure what an SVG file is, you probably do not need it to make the garment.

Yes. The available sizes for that product are nested together in the pattern files.

Size ranges vary by pattern, so check the size information on each product page before buying.

Yes. Sewing patterns include seam allowance unless the product page says otherwise.

Most woven sewing patterns include a 1 cm / 3/8 in seam allowance. Stretch sewing patterns may include a 0.5 cm / 1/4 in seam allowance where the pattern is intended for overlocker or serger construction.

Ralph Pink Patterns sewing patterns are drafted for a dressmaker’s B cup.

If your cup size is larger than a B cup, you may need to make a full bust adjustment.

The range includes patterns across UK 4-22, but not every pattern is available in every size.

Always check the individual product page and size chart for the pattern you want to buy.

Compare your bust, waist and hip measurements to the size chart on the product page. If your measurements sit across more than one size, choose the closest base size for the most important fit area and adjust during fitting.

For fitted garments and corsets, make a toile before cutting your final fabric.

You receive 10 download attempts. If you run out, contact us and we can reset your download access where appropriate.

Save the ZIP file to a laptop or desktop computer in a place you can find later, such as your desktop or a dedicated sewing-pattern folder.

Avoid downloading directly to a mobile phone or third-party app, as this can make files harder to access and may waste a download attempt.

A ZIP file is a compressed folder that contains several files. Download the ZIP file to your computer, then open or extract it to access the pattern files, instructions, size chart and print guide.
