Sewing Patterns

What are PDF sewing patterns?

PDF patterns are full-size digital sewing patterns divided into individual pages, which you print and tape back together to create a complete pattern sheet. We offer three PDF paper sizes in each sewing pattern pack: A4, US-Letter, and A0. Each PDF sewing pattern includes all available sizes nested together.

When you purchase a PDF pattern from us, you can access it immediately without worrying about shipping or handling fees. PDF patterns are cost-effective, allowing you to print them as many times as you need without losing the original pattern.

How do I view and print my PDF sewing patterns?

To view and print your PDF sewing patterns, download Adobe PDF reader, which is free to use. You can download it from this link: [Provide link].

Do your sewing patterns include seam allowance?

Yes, all our sewing patterns include a 1cm or 3/8-inch seam allowance. Some Corset sewing patterns may display the seam allowance on the pattern, while the majority of sewing patterns include the seam allowance even if not displayed.

Stretch sewing patterns come with a 0.5cm or 1/4-inch seam allowance and should be constructed using an overlocker.

What cup sizes are your patterns drafted for?

All our sewing patterns are drafted for a dressmaker’s B cup, which has a 5cm (2in) difference between the high bust and full bust. For cup sizes greater than a B cup, a full bust adjustment will be needed.

What sizes do you stock?

We supply PDF sewing patterns in sizes UK4 – 22. However, each sewing pattern or product may have different size options. Please check the product page for sizing information specific to each sewing pattern.

What is the right size for me?

To find the best size that fits you, refer to our standard size guide. Match your bust, waist, and hip measurements to the closest size. If your bust and waist match but your hip is larger, consider using the next size up and adjust the pattern during fitting. Remember that it’s common to make slight adjustments to achieve a perfect fit.

How do I print PDF sewing patterns?

Each PDF sewing pattern includes a How to Print document within the sewing pattern pack. This document will guide you on how to print your PDF sewing pattern from your home printer or at a print shop.

I can’t open my download. What is a Zip file?

A Zip file is a popular archive format widely used online. It stores one or several files in a compressed form, allowing you to download several files in one folder. After downloading a ZIP file, you need to unpack its contents to access the files. Your computer should already come with this software, but you can also use software like 7-zip or Win zip for this purpose.

What should I do if I find an error in your pattern?

We put our heart into producing, testing, and proofing each pattern, but mistakes can happen. We welcome your feedback, especially if we’ve made a mistake, so please get in touch with us via email so we can rectify it.

How do I get a refund?

Due to the instant nature of digital goods, we only offer refunds if the product is missing or damaged. If you encounter any issues with your purchase, please contact us for assistance.
