Body Sculpting Dinari Corset
Based on a historic corset from the early 20th century, the Dinari pattern focuses entirely on body sculpting and the overall silhouette of the finished garment. With multiple body sculpting panels that work to create a heart shaped front, the frame visually narrows the waist and emphasizes the bust to give the wearer stunning body contouring capabilities. The decorative external layer is completely untouched; leaving the piece free from all stitching marks, making for an interesting construction project for corset enthusiast’s everywhere. Our sample is constructed using satin, with an additional layer of Devoré felt polka-dot-net on the front and over-hip panels.

CREATIVE TIPS:
Every corset pattern in our collection features our standard two-layer construction technique, but the Dinari features a more individual boning style than any other corset across our range. This framing design removes visible stitch lines from the external (or decorative layer) of the corset, making it a very unique piece indeed. To really set it apart from our modern corsets we created an array of rare historical features, to make this pattern much more challenging for those who wish to expand their collection.
The Dinari corset will be better suited to intermediate sewers who have some experience in corset construction, but who are unfamiliar with this technical boning style. The instruction set is comprehensive, so novice sewers are advised to undertake easier corset construction projects from our selection of modern corsets.
