UK Sizes: 4-16 (EUR 32-44 / US 0-12)
Introducing our uniquely extraverted Coco Trousers sewing pattern, inspired by the awe-inspiring era of the 1920s. These stylish trousers add a retro-chic touch to your wardrobe. With their high waist and loose hip fit, they create the illusion of longer legs and enhance your silhouette. The Coco trousers are designed with a thin external waistband, an invisible side zip, front slash pockets, and front and back darts that extend into a pressed crease along the tapered legs. The sample image showcases lightweight cotton linen as the fabric choice.
Skill Level & Tips
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
The Coco Trousers sewing pattern is very easy to make, making it suitable for beginners with some sewing experience. The pattern features an invisible side zip, which is a simpler solution compared to standard fly/placket alternatives found in most trousers. For those feeling adventurous, the pattern can be modified to create a pair of shorts by removing the leg portion. The Coco Trousers pattern delivers incredible results with minimal fuss.
Fabric
Fabric Suggestions:
The Coco Trousers can be sewn with a variety of fabrics, but lightweight cotton linen, as showcased in the sample image, works exceptionally well. Choose fabrics that have a good drape and are comfortable to wear. Other suitable options include lightweight cotton, linen blends, or rayon.
