The Skater Dress sewing pattern is an excellent choice for beginner Sewists. With only two pattern pieces and a few major seams, this pattern is quick and easy to put together. Constructing the dress with a fine jersey material (one-way stretch) and using an overlocker machine will maintain the unique stretch quality of the skirt. The pattern includes a 0.5cm or 1/4” seam allowance to account for the overlocker finish.

The sample was made using 4-way stretch knit jersey, and we recommend using similar fabrics such as 4-way stretch jersey or Lycra-based stretch fabrics like swimwear fabric. Choose fabrics with good stretch and recovery for the best fit.

How do I download my pattern pack?
After purchasing your sewing pattern pack, you will see a “Download” button on your checkout completion page. Here, you can view the product information and download the pattern pack.zip folder. Downloads are available once your payment is confirmed. If you paid with PayPal or with a credit card, confirmation might take a few minutes. You will also receive a download notification email from which you can download your pattern pack.
Where are all my orders and downloads kept?
You can also download your pattern pack in your “My Account” area, (must be logged in). Click the “Downloads” link in the left menu. Here you will find all of your previous sewing pattern purchases. Click the “Download” button to save the sewing pattern pack to your computer. You have a limit of 10 download attempts. If you run out, please contact us and we will provide more download attempts.
Where do I save your pattern pack?
Please download your pack to a laptop or computer and save it in an easy to find location such as your desktop. Downloading to your mobile phone or a third-party app such as Dropbox can cause accessibility issues and will waste a download attempt. Once you have downloaded the pack, you will find instructions on how to use each file type in the read me file.
What do I need to view and print my patterns?
You will need Adobe Reader to view and print your PDF Sewing Patterns and the instructions.
