Terms of service
Thank you for your interest in our patterns. These are our terms of sale for all patterns purchased directly from us via ralphpink-patterns.com. If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase patterns from us.
1. About these Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply when you buy a digital sewing pattern or related digital product from Ralph Pink Patterns. Please read them before placing an order.
2. Digital products only
Ralph Pink Patterns sewing patterns are supplied as digital downloads. No printed paper pattern will be posted.
After purchase, you receive access to a downloadable ZIP file containing the pattern pack.
3. What is included in a pattern pack
Unless a product page says otherwise, a pattern pack may include:
– AI pattern files, all available sizes nested
– SVG pattern files, all available sizes nested
– PDF pattern files in A4, US Letter and A0, all available sizes nested
– Size chart in centimetres and inches
– Step-by-step sewing instructions PDF
– PDF print guide
4. Product descriptions
We try to describe each product accurately, including its size range, skill level, file formats, suggested fabrics, supplies and construction notes.
The product page forms part of the product description, so please read it before purchase.
5. Ordering and payment
Orders are placed through the website checkout. You must provide accurate billing and contact information.
Payment must be completed before download access is provided. If payment confirmation is delayed, download access may also be delayed.
6. Instant download and cancellation consent
Because sewing patterns are supplied as instant digital downloads, you may be asked at checkout to confirm that you want immediate access to the digital content and that you understand you may lose the 14-day cancellation right once the download begins or access is provided.
7. Download access
After checkout, you can download your pattern pack from the order completion page, from your download email, or through My Account > Downloads.
Download attempts may be limited. If you run out of attempts, contact us with your order number and we may reset access where appropriate.
8. Saving and opening files
Download the ZIP file to a laptop or desktop computer and save it somewhere easy to find.
Avoid downloading directly to a mobile phone or third-party app, as this can make the files difficult to locate and may waste a download attempt.
9. Printing PDF files
PDF files should be opened in Adobe Reader and printed at 100% scale. Do not use “scale to fit”.
Print and measure the test square before printing the full pattern. You are responsible for checking printer settings, paper size, page scaling and assembly before cutting fabric.
10. AI and SVG files
AI and SVG files are supplied for compatible digital editing workflows. Software compatibility depends on the software and version you use.
If you are not comfortable using editable vector files, use the PDF files for printing and sewing.
11. Personal-use licence
All sewing patterns are supplied for personal use only unless a separate written licence is agreed.
You may print the PDF files and may edit AI or SVG files for your own personal sewing, fitting and pattern-adjustment use.
You may not sell garments made from the sewing patterns.
You may not sell, license, share, upload, publish, lend, give away or redistribute the pattern files. You may not sell, license, share, upload, publish, lend, give away or redistribute edited versions of the files.
12. Commercial use
The patterns must not be used for commercial garment production, commercial sewing patterns, digital blocks, resale templates, manufacturing files, teaching packs, class handouts or any similar commercial use without written permission.
13. Errors and product issues
If a file is missing, corrupted, inaccessible or not as described, contact us with your order number, product name and a clear description of the issue.
We may provide support, a corrected file, replacement access, or another remedy required by law.
14. Refunds
Refunds are handled under the Refunds & Returns policy. Digital products are not returned in the same way as physical goods, but your statutory rights are not affected.
15. Taxes and pricing
Prices are shown on the product page and checkout page. Taxes, discounts or payment-provider information will be shown at checkout where applicable.
16. Changes to products
We may update product files, instructions, formats or page descriptions from time to time. If you need help with a previous purchase, contact us with your order details.
17. Contact
For help with an order, use the Contact page or reply to your order email. Include your order number, the email address used at checkout and the product name.
